This button opens Browse for Folder to change the folder to another one. The path that you have just chosen will appear in the text box below.
This button opens the folder which stores recorded files.
This is used when a file is saved. The program will save files with a time-stamp format.
PREFIX_YYYYMMDD_hhmmss_ttt
e.g.: Eco 1_20091225_012345_678
With the prefix named “Eco 1?, the recording was saved on December 25, 2009 at 1 am 23 min 45.678 sec.
This mode is useful when you want to specify file name and folder.
Once you click Stop button, Save button will be enabled, ready for you to name current recording.
The time-stamped file name will be automatically replaced with your newly specified file name.
Note: by default, when you click Stop button, current recording is automatically saved with a time-stamped file name.
This mode is convenient to make the whole recording into pieces of independent files.
If checked, you just click Rec button whenever you want to split. Those files are automatically saved with time-stamped file names.

- WMA (Windows Media Audio) is a Windows native compressed audio format.
- MP3 is a popular compressed audio format.
- VOX file format with extension .vox conforms to the Dialogic ADPCM format. Currently only 8000Hz VOX format is supported.
